Ok so about a week after bottling these little lumps appeared floating in a layer at the top of all of my bottles - there is a suggestion they could be bits of hop. Three weeks after bottling they are still there, although the beer (Midas touch) is the right colour and seems to have carbonated well judging by how firm the bottles are, the bottles don't exactly look very appetising with these little buggers floating around  They are light brown in colour and small in size.

What do you think they are? Do they mean there is some contamination?

Here are some photos

Could they be some small particles of yeast that have C02 stuck in them causing them to float?

Have you tried shaking them to see if they sink afterwards?

Thanks, will shake a bottle tonight

Has anyone else seen something like this at the top of their bottles - or is it just me!

It used to happen to me when I was bottling before I discovered Head and Shoulders shampoo. ;) I then used Wash and Go and all my hair fell out so problem solved :D
