My chest freezer has died so I need to replace it.
If I get another chest freezer I need a collar to make it tall enough but a fridge might not get to -1°C for lagering.

What do you think? Fridge or Freezer? It's going in the garage.

I'm fairly new to kegging etc but I went with fridge (it can fit 2 19L cornies a smaller 5L/9L keg and a 6Kg Gas bottle). I went with fridge for cosmetic reasons and because I didn't fancy lifting 19L into a chest freezer).

Chest freezers are cheaper and even a small one can generally fit more cornies in it. I have had a couple that do not require a collar, look around they exist.
