Drinking a pint of this right now. I had 250g each of light and dark DME left over from the last Coopers brew, so made up this kit with that plus 500g of ordinary sugar. Inexpensive to make and turned out alright! Vaguely resembling a better John Smiths.

It's how I described it to my dad when I offered him a pint anyway! My thinking is if John Smiths was made properly this is what it would taste like.
