So i got a Geordie Larger kit from Wilkos, and was wondering if i could use a Wilko Gervin English Ale Yeast, as opposed to the Yeast that came with the Kit. I aye up on this Brewing malakey ,ATM so would like any advice before i start so as not to drop a googley, and am goin to ferment in a fridge with a Inkbird 308 and 35watt Heating Tray. thanks

Neither of them are Lager yeasts, the common and easily available one is 34/70.
If you can't get it in time ferment at as low a temp as you can, the temp range should be on the packet.
The best thing you can do is postpone the brew and use two packets (lager needs twice as much) of 34/70 as always don't make up with sugar try brew enhancer.
