I've just popped a Courage Directors Kit on and instead of adding the powdered Hop Sachet you get with it (Goldings Hops I believe) I have decided to not add them but instead dry hop with some Hop Pellets later on. So my plan is to add about 50 grams of Challenger Hop Pellets (which has a similar profile to Goldings I think) after primary fermentation has finished. I will just pop them the primary bin in for 5 days and then bottle...
Does this sound like it will work? I am not wanting a Directors clone but I thought I would use the kit as a 'base' and ramp up the hops with Challenger (which I'm a fan of). Any tips, ideas, or have I just ruined a perfectly good kit!? lol.
