Evening all.

For the first time in years the wife got me something interesting, useful and practical for Christmas. So yesterday I set it off to work.

I got:
A 10l bucket with a lid, two plastic 5l demijohns, an air lock, thermometer, funnel/strainer, syphon kit .................and a "Hedgerow wine kit".

Ohhh, and a book "First steps in wine making" by CJ Berry.

For my first attempt I have used 1.44kg of mixed fruit (frozen Tesco value) with 100g of sultanas, 400g of sugar and the Pectolase, nutrient and yeast from the kit.

I hope it turns out well :hmm:
