My name's Chris and I'm brand new to brewing. I got a Youngs starter kit for my birthday back in April and have brewed up my first batch of Youngs lager. It took and age to clear and I force carbonated with a couple of CO2 8g bottles a few days apart but it's turned out well. I'm now looking at a stout.
Really enjoying the basic brewing and will be trying the more technical stuff in the very near future, pending the mrs agreeing to a shed in the garden in place of the delapidated blue summer house thing. This forum looks extremely good for how-tos etc.
Anyway just stopped by to say hello!
