HOP PELLETS - WTF?

Hello good people!

Can I ask if I was going to add hops to a beer kit as to whether or not I can add direct to FV or whether Ishould Steep or Hop tea them?

Forgive me as I am a relative Newbie!

your better with a hop tea if you are doing a kit. get some muslin bags, boil the hops in the muslin bag in some water then add that to kit or boil it in some wort. search the forum for hop tea or watch this vid for a rough idea of what to do - http://www.youtube.com/user/CraigTube#p/search/0/G4QyrJ1E8VI

Seen the Craigtube video before and its what kind of gave me the idea in the first place.

good luck with it! i had experimented with around 30g of goldings and the same with saaz on different kits, im not a massive ale drinker and couldnt distinguish between hops but I thought it may improve or give the brew a new taste. i started my first malt extract brew yesterday with a recipe from brew uk, its a step nearer AG but probably takes about a third of the time, my boiler took about an hour and a half to get to boiling with about 20 ltr of wort
