That's number 3 under the belt and all went very well, especially in comparison to last time(stuck sparge)

A nifty little addition to the setup was a poundland colander with a slot crudely hacked in to it allowing it to fit snugly over the pipe of the homemade bazooka in the mash tun. Worked a treat.

Another little addition was a sieve secured to the FV with a wire coat hanger.

So everything went swimmingly until during the sparge I thought I'd weigh out the hops, so I checked the hop schedule and found no timings. It was laid out as follows;

Chinook 26g first wort.
Cascade 27g boil
Cascade 27g boil
Chinook 16g boil
Cascade 27g dry hop
Chinook 27g dry hop

I opted for (amidst a slight panic) this;
Chinook 26g 60mins
Cascade27g 15mins
Cascade 27g flameout
Chinook 16g flameout

Grain bill;
Maris otter 5.1kg
Cara red 120g
Cara Amber 318g
Chocolate 106g
Flaked oats 66g

25 litres at 1.042
11g dry S04
