I'm doing my first WOW tonight - thanks to Moley's How-To guide.

My juice has sweeteners in it:
Sodium saccharide, sucralose and acesulfam-K (my goodness, what am I drinking here?)

Incidentally, it states clearly there are no preservatives in it, so I'm a bit alarmed to see the 'sulfam' (sulphurs?). I'm thinking of boiling the whole juice just to be on the safe side.

Is there anything I need to know in addition to the guide when dealing with sweeteners, please?

fwiw, I'm wanting a high ABV - better than 12%, pref 16-18%.

I've worked out from the box that it contains 40g per 2 litres of sugar sweetener(s).

The only thing you really need to be aware of is that sweetners are not fermentable, therefore you will finish with a sweet wine.

Otherwise, just do sugar calculations as usual (excluding sweetners) to calculate OG. I'm currently fermenting a blackcurrant juice drink wine that has sweetners in, as an experiment to see how it turns out.
