Hi all, After a successful brew using Imperial Yeast's Juice strain I tried my hand at using the barbarian strain for a black ipa.
I chilled it down 19c and pitched the yeast yesterday and this morning its raised to 24. All the time I had a desk fan with the fermenter in my cool brewing bag and its not really helping keeping the temps down, I threw in a few 2l water bottles and cool box blocks over night but it didnt help.
It does seem to be chugging away nicely though.

Has anyone had the experience of dealing with Imperial Yeast and in particular the barbarian strain above its optimal temp..16-21)?

Im abit concerned it'll produce off flavours, as its merely the 2nd time Ive used Imperial Yeasts Im being abit edgy around it.
