Am doing a brew buddy larger kit n wanna make sure I am adding the right amount of sugar to it am putting it in the pressure barrell now and the instructions say 8gram per gallon or 3oz but 3oz is way more then 8grmz so I'm confused

3oz is around 80gram.. i'd guess it's a typo? or you read it wrong?

3oz or 80gram sounds about right to me for a barrel

regards

Phil

Yeah my mrs just sai t might be 80 so would it be 80grms per gallon then?

Glad I checked the brew buddy larger instructions are whack they say per gallon lol do I stir the sugar in or just pour it in?

You would be better to boil it for a few minutes in a small amount of water. This will ensure that the sugar isn't going to introduce any risks. Add this to the barrel and then syphon your beer in.

although if it's a plastic barrel you won't get enough carbonation for a lager, I'd suggest bottling it instead.
