Hi all,

Im bulding a kegerator in the new year and am struggling to find and beer taps with a long enough threaded section to fit through the wooden collar I'm fitting between the lid and the freezer body. Anyone know any suppliers.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

how about fixing a few 1/2" bsp brass sockets into holes in the wood. drill out a hole and encourage them in place with a mallet and secure with glue.

then just simply mount the taps into the sockets and use the locknuts to lock then in a vertical position just as u would if mounting into a font.

if not in use- tap out for cleaning a simple 1/2" blanking plug could be used to close off.

This is what's on my kegerator
