Right guys so been away at work for two weeks came home to This

I've done FG on both , the lemon one hasn't moved so it's a fail [emoji30][emoji30] but the summer fruit one now that's alcoholic [emoji23]

6.6% or there abouts I'll rack her off tomorrow and batch prime it tossing it up between sugar or lowicz syrup then bottle her up [emoji106]

It's quite sweet so not sure how many of them I could drink in one sitting

are you going to try and get it going bit by bit with a starter yeast, or can you not be arsed and gonna throw it?

I tried cheapbrew before I went to work but to no avail maybe never boiled it long enough I'll take another stab at it for all it costs to try

I'll be bottling it in 330ml glass bottles should get 13 out of it once is carbed I'll give it a try but on initial thoughts I'll defo be doing this again 19p a bottle [emoji16][emoji16]

I would try starting the yeast off for a few hours til its foaming well and then add it to about a cupful of the wow, if that keeps going then after a few hours add more wow and keep doing until its all going.....or not!

Batch primed with 60ml of raspberry syrup so should work out just short of 4g sugar per bottle so should be fizzy enough

Looking forward to this one if its as good as it looks Ill defo be getting another batch on the go

I think 4g might make it a bit light in fizz matey, but that's what trial and error is all about

where about are you offshore, what line of work you in ?

That's it matey it's smaller bottles so thought it would be best to lower the amount a little [emoji6] if they are a bit light I'll up it next time trial and error

I've got a specialist beer bar in merchant city to collect 500ml bottles for me collect them tomorrow so should have a stack of them for the next few brews! Did you start your strawberry and lime TC

Btw asda are selling the cherry syrup 2 for £1.50 noticed it today

nah not started cider yet, I have about 80 bottles conditioning (xmas cider and prosecco), so no spare bottles to put the s&l cider in yet 😯

Yeh that Xmas cider sounded amazing have you cracked any of them open yet ?

I've nearly finished my first TC the raspberry one , had two class bottles in the batch that didn't carb up putting it down to the dodgy youngs capper , but the taste difference was incredible! [emoji40][emoji40]

nope, just bottled those this week, my only restraint in drinking my tc's is that they are totally clear, so should be into them by the end of next week !

What taste difference were you talking about there? rasp vs plain apple tc ?

No was meaning the just the taste between the flat cider and fizzy , not sure if it had spoiled as they where not sealed or something but there was definitely a difference
