Hoping to get a brew going sometime next week.
I have a load of Fuggles I want using up and need help with a tidy Bitter recipe heavy on fuggles. Not necessarily single hop.
I have a good selection of Malts so that is not a problem, not to keen on Stouts though.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers.

I'm planning to make my next 'Big Kenny' an all Fuggle affair :

Target OG : 1.047
Target IBU : 32
90 min 67c Mash
90 min Boil

92% Pale Malt
5% Torrified Wheat
1.5% Crystal
1% Roasted Barley
0.5% Chocolate Malt

Fuggles to 32IBU 90 Mins
20g Fuggles (per 25L) 15 Mins
20g Fuggles (per 25L) added during cooling at 80c steeped for 15 mins

:thumb:

I made one I called Fuggelite a few months ago, it is with out any doubt my favourite, Single malt, but two hops, I just used the first gold for bittering hops. It's clean, bright, well ballanced, uncomplicated and so beautiful, I plan this again very soon as the 50 ltr are nearly gone. I had this for crimbo on tap at relations house for two days, cleared in no time

Yeh thanks Sara,I did come across that one.

It too is on the shortlist.

I might not get round to brewing until next week now. :hmm:

Have you considered Castle Eden Fuggles Imperial IPA from Graham Wheeler , its one of my favourites , it uses 125 gm in the boil and 20 gm at the end for a 25 lt brew .

Yeh I had it in mind to buy it some time in the future.
