Love brewing - Liverpool

On a visit to see my son, found this HBS on West Derby Road, Liverpool and it's a little gold mine! They had a good selection of hops, a few all grain kits made up so you can brew a Black sheep clone or a Theakston's best etc., a few two can kits, loads of different wine kits... and I could go on, pretty much anything you'd need for home brewing is in the shop.

The owner also has a few kits made up in the shop, so you can sample what the kit will taste like. When I went in there were a good 5 or 6 barrels set up and the owner was keen for me to try before I bought a kit. He's selling his own kits called Beerworks and the final product tasted rather good.

Just wish I lived a bit closer (although the bank manager is probably happy that I don't!)

Yes I can vouch for this place

I will be in there tomorrow morning to buy some more supplies and of course to have a sample or two

The sheepdog bitter on the following link was the most tastiest bitter I have had anywhere for a long while
