Hi, I started with a Wherry kit and I've drunk about two thirds so far, it won't last long! Interesting is every third bottle or so has a little twang; nothing to stop me drinking it but not as satisfying as the malty bitterness of the bottles that don't twang. Probably leave the rest for some more weeks to catch up.
What do you reckon?

Next was a brew dog DIPA, that's a long term conditioner I think!

Did a treacly coopers stout and I reckon that's a quaffable session brew, will be opening my first in two weeks after our holiday but first indications are Oba Oba!

Three Brewferm kits on, will be bottling when we get back, long term storage for these bad boys.

So, soon I'll have no Wherry left and I'll be wiring into the stout. I like a rich full bodied ale (like hobgoblin etc) and I love a hop forward IPA. I'd be happy with either as a session ale around 4.5-5% and I'd like it to be ready to drink shortly (6 weeks ish)

What kit do you recommend please?

Sounds like you're happy with the kit brewing process, so why not move to the next stage Extract brewing? You just need to boil some hops and maybe steep some grains in addition to the tins of liquid (or bags of dried) malt extract, but it's not complicated and can probably be done with existing kitchen equipment, and it'll produce far superior beer.

Plenty of recipe kits out there from the likes of BrewUK and HBC

Or you could modify a Coopers kit, plenty of recipes on the Coopers website inc this one which is a sort of Hobgoblin clone

I'm just fermenting Battleship Bitter

I really liked the John Bull IPA, and English style IPA. It was my 6th kit and I did it with brew enhancer and 400g dextrose, which made it a little thin, but the taste was great. Easy drinking and very moreish. If you did it with 1kg spraymalt and 500g dextrose, I'm sure it would be even better.

I love the john bull IPA, my best kit to date I think. I do tend to buy the cheaper 1 can kits though.
