So... I'm on my first brew, and first ever bottling session. ..

I thought I was well preppared .... lots of sanitising, cleaning etc...etc...

I syphoned my brew into a second vessel, with priming sugar..... but on my first attempt at using a hammer-on crown capper I realised it's far too late, and noisy.

I have put the lid back on with an airlock and am seeking advice reassurance ? ...

Presuming it will start fermenting again... is it an utter fail? Can I leave it in the second vessel for another 24hrs, even though there is priming sugar in there?

Should I re-clean and sanitize my bottles tommorow ( if its ok to proceeed) ?

Thanks for Any Advice ....

The yeast was probably still very active and chewed trough your priming sugar in those 24h. To be sure all sugar was consumed, leave it in there for another 48h and repeat the process. Your beer will be just little bit drier and have a bit more of alcohol. No harm done. Cheers!
