I have a bed full of Pak choi which the slugs got into while I was on holiday

Since I've recently taken up wine making, I've been thinking maybe I can utilize it for wine rather than chucking in the composter.

Anyone ever tried this or something similar?

There is hardly any sugar in pak choi.....so you'd need to add a shed load of sugar for a start.
I'm no wine maker, but I imagine it tasting of fermented farts

never mind no sugar, there's no flavour either - it's only really used in cooking for the texture it adds.

pick it, and stir fry it, or as others have said - compost.

Carrots, parsnips, beetroot etc. :thumb:

Cabbages and salad leaves :nono:

Tomatoes

Thanks for the feedback folks.

Looks like you've saved this rookie from making a rather smelly mistake
