Newbie Here, How Do I Use This?

Hi All,

I got this today and not sure how to heat the liquid inside, can I chuck this on a gas hob or do I need to get something else to heat this…. All the YouTube videos I could find have another section plugged into the wall heating the thing up.

That looks like their fermenter, rather than a kettle. If so, it's not designed to be heated.

Ah biscuits… so I should look up recipes that don’t involve heating of any kind?? Apologies if that’s another stupid question

Most Extract Kits don't require heating (well apart from boiling the kettle) and if you are a newbie that's probably the best place to start.

What are some of your favourite beers to drink? I'm sure the forum can suggest a kit to match.

IPAs mostly… I’ll google extraction kit! Thanks for the help mate

There are loads of good IPA kits on the market. You'll find a ton of great advice on the forum to help you get started. Happy brewing!

Make sure you clean your new kit properly and sanitise before use.
