Possible infection ?

One of the brews I was going to bottle this morning looks like it might have an infection but having never seen it before I thought I'd post up some pics and ask, it's like a powdery residue floating on the top.




It's a 1 gallon batch and I suppose the question is would you still bottle it ?

looks ok to me does it smell ok ? use a wine thief and take some from under the surface and taste it

Smells ok, tastes good, I'll go for it I think.

just siphon down and leave the top bit in the bucket to be safe and store bottles in cardboard boxes and old towels around them just incase

Worst scenario: it's the best beer ever and you never will find out how to reproduce it again, because of that powdery residu that never shows up again
