Post brew hoping

I have just started AG brewing could some one explain post brew hoping ie time etc sorry for such a silly question :

Normally I brew up and hope to hell it turns out nice...

...post brew hopping on the other hand, and I presume you mean dry hopping, is as easy as it gets, my regime for dry hopped beers is 7 days primary ferment, rack, dry hop, leave a further 14 days before bottling.

Quantities depend on what you want to achieve flavour and aroma-wise of course but 30g per 23l brew gives a good but not overpowering hoppiness.
