Re Charging Co2 Bottles

I was thinking of trying to refill my own co2 bottles, I currently use the hambleton bard ones, and they don't last long

I Know They do it on paintball sites and from what I can remember, it looks like a pretty simple operation, only thing is I am not 100% sure the valve is the same, cant see in the photos on the refill equipment websites, so will have to have a look at my mates equipment this week.

If it is so its £47 for the valves etc then one big co2 cylinder
 
BOC are a greedy, money hungry company that will not help you out if you have your own cylinders. I've asked.
They will however rent you a cylinder at vast expense and charge an arm and a leg for each refill.

I would try and find a cylinder online and find a place that refills fire extinguishers, as it'll probably only cost a few quid to get a refill from there.
Or ask at a local pub for a lend of a bottle.
