Riddles Ginger Wine Compound

Has anyone tried using Riddles Ginger Wine Compound to make a ginger beer or ginger wine. Our local Pharmacy sells 100 ml bottles for £1.69 which is pretty cheap.

I was thinking of fermenting a sugar water solution then adding the Ginger Compound to taste.

I tried it, it's very spicy and overpowering in every aspect. Use fresh

I agree fresh ginger is very cheap, I just like experimenting with different ingredients.....it keeps the hobby interesting :
