safe to leave sanitizer in fermenter

Hi all
i think i know the answer to this all ready but am i safe to leave Chensan sanitizer in my fermzilla and beer lines for a couple of months till my next brew day or should i flush it out. it is diluted

I find leaving Starsan/Chemsan in anything for a prelonged amount of time leads to a slimy residue buildup, therefore I flush my lines then remove the JG fittings at each end and let them air dry....... then do a normal sanitise before use.
I don't see any benefit in leaving anything filled with sanitiser.
