Simply Pale Ale

So I've brewed a " Simply Pale Ale" using 1kg of spraymalt and its been in fermenter for 8 days,there is a small amount of Krausen and Hydrometer reads at 10.10 although I'm not certain I'm reading it right!-I enclose pics,
is brew done? can I dry hop now?,

Am i right in thinking you did a 40 pint kit + 1kg dme, what was the og that looks nearer to 1012, did you sanitise the hydrometer i would leave it for 3 or 4 days longer then another reading

Hi,yes you're quite Correct it was the kit with DME,I dunked the Hydrometer in Starsan before I put it in fermenting bucket.

+1 on what @Rodcx500z has said.
When the SG has bottomed out you can add the hops.
If you haven't dry hopped before you might find this useful.

Thankyou I plan on using 50g each of Cascade and Citra.

It turned out beautifully,I'm now going to do another batch using Falconers Flight hops.

I've done one of those using the same kit and hops (50g in 500ml as a hop tea) and it turned out really well. My favourite using this kit was a Mosaic Pale which was so good I'm doing it again at the moment.
