A quick hello, thanks for having what looks like an open and v.helpful forum. Lots to learn and work back through as I get more into this game. I've got about 4 years of kit brews behind me, not really taking things that seriously.... My best kit result was an Imperial Stout kit from lovebrewing... I went all in with the oak chunks, a loooong ferment and condition. It didn't taste like any imperial stout I've ever had but it still was pretty good. I finally bought myself both a 100L pot, gas burner and a 35L urn to get into grain (I dare say there's possibility of 3 step all grain with a mash-tun, but one step at a time). I've got 2 brews of BIAB done over the last month or so - Ive not yet tried the outcome. Enjoyed the longer and more complex brew days and keen to get into this further, and here I am.
