Only my 3rd beer kit brew. I started this on 5th November and pitched yeast at 23C with OG of 1.048

The airlock was pretty mental after less than 24 hrs and by the 9th the airlock was more or less quiet.
14th Nov - Reading 1.018 - it had a lovely chocolatey taste.
21st Nov - Still 1.018
29th Nov - Still 1.018 - T this point i gave it a stir and I put it on my heat pad
1st Dec - 1.014 - Chocolatey taste gone. Temp 22C
5th Dec - 1.014 - Temp 22C

So as you can see it appears to be stuck?? Should i use another yeast sachet to get this to finish?
Instructions suggest: 1009, although one or two points either side is fine.
Was quite looking forward to this one for Christmas, but not going to be the case now.

All advice greatly received.

I think mine only ever got down to 1014 (I did brew with a litre or so extra water by mistake). Tasted good though, drinkable after a couple of weeks, very good after a month. Dangerously drinkable!
Yours comes in around 4.5% after priming, go for it. ..
