Part of a job lot of 2012 hops that I bought last year was 250g of Strisselspalt. I used 30g dry hopping the Hammer of Thor kit, which is a little underwhelming.
Given that this is a 4 year old aromatic hop, and my freezer is now filling up with hops, it's time to be rid of it. Currently boiling is this one:

Fermentables
1.5kg Extra Light DME (Dissolved into 4l and straight into FV)
200g Light Caramalt
100g CaraMunich
70g Extra Light Caramalt

Grains steeped at 65-70*C for 30 mins together with FWH

Hops:
70g Strisselspalt 2012 2.36%AA FWH
50g Strisselspalt 2012 2.36%AA 15mins plus 1/2 Whirlfloc
50g Strisselspalt 2012 2.36%AA whirlpool
50g Strisselspalt 2012 2.36%AA Dry hop

Going to use s33 as a starter brew for a Dubbel coming up... I wonder if I'll actually get any wort out of the hops :-? I'm aiming for 14 litres in the FV at around 1.042...

Hmmm... I may have to sparge my hops :lol:

That's hops all the way down (170g) :thumb:

Yeast pitched - 12.5 litres at 1.046-1.048 (not used to the new hydrometers, having had two "incidents" prior to Christmas ), which is about what I'd (or Brewtarget'd) expect from that dilution of the DME.

I got 10 litres out as normal, then bagged and squeezed the hops in a (large!) sterilised voile bag** which got me an extra 2.5l... plus plenty of break material

**Sammy ordered a load of hand-knitted Xmas pressies for people and they arrived in various sizes of voile bag... Free hop bags for me
