Hi can anyone help with this. I have a wilko strawberry wine stuck at 1.004. which is only 6 points short of its final gravity reading.
All fermentation has stop for about a week now. I have racked it off the lees into anther demijohn and was wondering should I bottle or try to get it fermenting again.
 
I'd give it another week, just in case the yeast culture is building back up again since racking. If nothing after another week and tastes ok, sorbate it to be sure it doesn't restart.
 
Thanks for the help Tau was hopping to get it done before I go on holiday. I'll have to leave till I get back should be ok if left for 3 weeks.
