Topping up after racking

Read this a few times by some members. My 6 bottle kits end up filling 5 bottles more or less after racking etc.

my feeling is that topping up before bottling will dilute the wine is this something most of you do?

Most modern DJ's are 4.5 litre so you will never get 6 bottles if you don't fill to the base of the neck when you get to the degas and clearing stage.

i will now divide by 5 when I’m working out the cost per bottle when I’m boasting to my friends. Still works out well worth it
