i used this recipe from advice on here. came out very nice. let it mature for at least 3 months

So I've finally started my cider.
I've mixed everything together in a DJ but I'm just wondering wether I need to top it up after initial fermentation?
I've used 4L of apple juice, there's still quite a bit of headspace. Will it spoil it adding more juice?

the recipe requires 4.5 litres of apple juice I think, you say you have added 4 litres which is half a litre short. Carefully add another half litre and then leave it alone.
