Ubergeeky - DIY Microscope using Webcam

I've just seen an interesting post on AHB regarding making a microscope from an old webcam.
It basically involves reversing the lens so fairly simple.
It can provide enough magnification for yeast cell counting amongst other things :ugeek:

Built one of these with my son and dremeled up a stand. Threaded steel used for under mounted taps is good to allow the slide to move into focus as the lens can't focus.
