Hi Folks

I started a Coopers wheat kit on Friday. I added 2 x 500g of crushed wheat extract and 700g of tesco golden syrup. I added the yeast supplied with the kit and stirred it very well to get enough oxygen. It has been in a 40 pint bucket with bubble trap. Normally the bubbler would be going nuts by now which lets me know all is well (and amusingly annoys my wife).

The bubbler hasnt made a sound this time... I took the lid off and stirred again on Sunday (about 10am) and nothing...

Should I be worried? I've had slow starters before but nothing like this.

I was thinking about adding another yeast or two.

Any advise would be welcome.
