VWP Cleaner/Steriliser question

Hi,

Just wondered how long you can keep a solution of this mixed up before chucking it away, does it loose its potency? just seems a bit of a waste chucking it down the sink after one use. Could I keep it a couple of weeks/months and use it prior to starting a new brew.

I tend to use one 5 gallon batch for a weekend's brewing.

Something like 50 bottles and associated bottling stuff get done, after bottling it sits there overnight in the FV ready for brewing the next day.

I've got one still left from Saturday with all the layers from my bottle tree in - I figured it's about time they got a clean...

I imagine it does lose potency over time - chlorine is volatile after all - but no idea how long is too long I'm afraid.
