Hello all,

Looking at getting stuck into water chemistry so the first step is obviously to get hold of a water report from my supplier.

Got one, but it's all Greek to me and seems to have no mention of the typically requested values such as Calcium, Magnesium and Sulphate/Chloride.

I'm hoping some one hopefully has the same supplier (Severn Trent) and has been able to use a similar report to good effect.

My specific report can be found here:

Thanks in advance chaps.

Hi RZH,
you can get a detailed report from your water company if it's not already on their website. It may take some digging to find it though. Water is a fascinating subject as your water can be the difference between a great brew and an ok one.

I think clibit or manse posted a link to a good water calculator a few months back that I found is one of the best.
