WOW through the airlock

I did a WOW version using pineapple juice: up to 4.25L in a 5L PET and got up the next day and it was all through the airlock and I had to clean and change the airlock about 5 or 6 times within an hour or 2.
Its calmed down now although after this (above) it came through again overnight.
Will it be okay?
