Hello all,

Yesterday I decided to get that Mild brewed, overall a good result, I think I may have a problem with my overall efficiency due to my grain bag being too small for the size of my boiler, or, I just need more practice at steeping.

The final recipe was:

Brew Length: 23L
OG: 1.038
FG: 1.008 (In theory).
ABV: 4.0%
IBU: 19.2
SRM: 24.7 / EBC: 51

Grain Bill:
3.8kg Marris Otter
720g Crystal Malt 120
230g Wheat Malt
87g Chocolate Malt

24g Fuggles 6.24% AA - 90 Mins.
12g Fuggles 6.24% AA - 10 Mins.
3g Irish Moss - 10 Mins.

Yeast: Safeale S-04

The samples were very nice to drink, nice and malty with a tinge of the hop aroma, very nice mouthfeel to it and the colour more or less came out as I wanted, a nice ruby red. But overall I am most pleased with the end result and I shall let you know what she's like when she's ready.
