The thing about this yeast is that it contains built in nutrient plus a bit of Bentonite to aid clearing.
Making it very easy to use and ideal for beginners to the hobby.

I know the super wine yeast compound has all those I have used it for years i wasn't aware the dried active yeast also had it but will be happy to be corrected if i am wrong.

A Specially formulated recipe containing Bentonite, Wine Yeast, Yeast Nutrient, Vitamins and Minerals.
Used for making high quality wines, speedy fermentation and clearing.

I have never made it but google came up with -

You can use champagne or white wine yeast, or any kind of ale yeast, depending on what you want from your finished cider and how long you're willing to wait.
