    No rinse sanatizers

    LME for stout?

    I was gonna start a batch of Coopers stout, but have ran out of DME, but I have a bag of LME. Will this be ok for a stout, or will it have to be dark?

    Freezing blackberrys

    I've just gone out & picked just under 5 lbs of blackberrys. I have just rinsed them & put them in the freezer. Are they OK to freeze? I am planning on picking some elderberries to add to the brew.

    How much priming sugar for kegging a stout?

    As above, just about to keg my Coopers stout but not sure how much sugar for the keg. Also, gonna bottle a few. So about 1tsp of sugar per bottle?

    Batch priming a 13 litre brew?

    Just about to batch prime my 13 litre Youngs barley wine. Been in primary 2 weeks now, & to save the hastle of putting sugar in every bottle, i thought i would batch prime but wasnt sure how much sugar to add. Also, how long do i leave the brew in the 2nd bucket after priming before bottling?

    Floaters in my brew?

    I set a Youngs barley wine away 2 weeks ago. All seems fine, except i`ve noticed there is what looks like undissolved floaters of BKE in it. Will this be ok? Is there anything i can do?     Youngs Barley wine

    Just got this because i fancied a nice strong pint. Anyone ever made this kit, & offer some advice? It says to add 1kg of sugar, so was gonna use either BKE or Dark spraymalt.

    Best prices for spraymalt?

    Went down to my local HBS other day to price some dark spray malt for a Coopers stout i am planning, & for a 500grm bag it was £5.00! I am all in favour for supporting my local HBS but that would cost me £10.00 for spray malt alone! Surely this is expensive? Can anyone recommend any online...

    When to bottle TC?

    Ok, had a TC on the go for 10 days now. There seems to be no life left in the airlock but i havent taken a reading since i started it ( SG was 1060 ). So, when is the best time to bottle? Give it a few more days, weeks? Any advice welcome cheers.

    Got my new S-30 type cap this morning. My question is, when i come to kegging up where is the best place to add vaseline? Under the brass washer? Under the main black rubber washer? In the screw thread?
