Don't eat your homemade jackfruit burrito if it tastes really bad. Been feeling the consequences all day today

Found it Interesting that Star San does not kill wild yeast or mould, and the explanation about what different things are charged and why star san type products work.
I’m always careful with cleaning and sanitising, interesting read though.

Bottled my first brew tonight. Learned that my bottling wand is super slow. Discovered a 500ml bottle takes over 2 minutes to fill. Painful. The plus side is I had time to research how long it should take while filling...
Have ordered a larger replacement... 🙂

I learnt when choosing new colour paint for walls whichever colour you will like the mrs won't, so save an hour of pain in b&q and let her choose it herself.
I gave up “liking”years ago and now just accept. Far easier. And it’s all an illusion anyway as the choice has NEVER been yours.now I just nod and smile at whatever is pointed out as “ohh that’s nice”

Try opening wand at the bottom add another o ring it will only allow u to push it halfway up
Flow will be faster when fully pushed it slower

Be much more careful when you decide to add more loft insulation.

Wow - I didn't realise that Artex was quite that toxic.
Actually it is!!!!
Many old artexers died of asbestosis.
Of course it doesn't contain it nowadays, but it used to.
The other way it could kill you is if some clumsy pillock puts his foot through it and the ceiling hits you on the head.
