Schwarzbier is still going...can't be much left in the keg..I have obviously been too good leaving it alone through lagering 😋
Didn't score that well in Lager than Life (30pts), I have compared it against commercial German brew and tasted similar to me..🤷🏻

The ingredients for the Poe's bitter arrived today. I put the recipe into Brewfather and it looks a lot simpler than on the web page for some reason so I'm going to make it as per the recipe.
I kept the recipe close apart from bittering hops I used Challenger as a FWH, 40 litres of this is destined to be brewed next week following the recipe. My reverse cycle AC gave up the ghost after 8 years of loyal service, 8 years of continuous running, keeping ferments warm during winter and cool during summer. Hoping to pick up a new one next week, don't want to risk my 40 litre batch.

So last night was a imperial stout. Probably more authentic than some of the impys today that I prefer as this has no carbonation really. I brewed something exactly like this a few years ago only with a little more fizz.

Then is was time for dancing in the street yet another great beer with the name beerriff on the can.

Beverage no3. Standing proudly sans can (It disappeared after pouring and I was making cheese sauce so stir- look for can- stir better take pic - stir) Is Docanna's dubbel knot.

I prefer to think of it as Docanna's dangerously drinkable delicious dubbel. Toasty with a lovely roastyness in the background. This was even better than the first can I had as advised @DocAnna . This would go brilliantly with cheese cubes for that full on Belgian experience. This is one of a few dubbels I'd gladly repeat. I just wish I could remember the other ones I like as I generally find the same breweries tripels are much better. My dubbels have been ok but not worthy of a valuable brewing slot. asad.

Finally luminous nights. I was wondering why I like it so much and then I saw it on the can. Kviek. Ah yes OJ although a bit more muted than other kvieks I've had.
 
Tried my "Simply" lager today. Only been in the bottle 5 days, so I was just tasting to check it, and planning to put the rest in snail traps. Low and behold, it had a nice creamy head and lots of bubbles. Still very young, and I expect it to improve over the coming weeks, but quite drinkable. The snails didn't get much.

I’m kicking off with What The Bock from @pilgrimhudd.
Lovely chestnut brown colour. Big roast aroma, chocolate and bit of dark fruit. Lovely soft mouthfeel. Big chocolaty roast flavours with a bit of dark cherry.
I do like my amber and brown beers, and this is a great brew, thanks for sharing it.

Malt Miller have the following in their kit, I’m guessing this might be close after the brewery visit they did.

Chinook Pellets (35 grams)
Cascade Pellets (150 grams)
Citra Pellets (142 grams)
Pilgrim T90 Hop Pellets (10 grams)
