I've been homebrewing for about 7 years. Started as a student with dodgy apple juice and bread yeast, made my way to basic lager kits and since leaving have been using more premium ale kits.

Back in the day drank straight from demijohns but I now have 3 corny kegs with mounted taps. They are in a self made wooden bar with insulation and ice boxes. Just waiting to get some thermoelectric coolers.

Most recently I knocked my CO2 over givng the regulator a pretty good dint so thats been binned and whilst looking for a more accurate gauge I've discovered secondary regs which are more accurate.

I currently reside in Hull and the nearest LHBS is Goole or York, sad times.

They would appreciate the business too.

Too true. :thumb:

They were one of the first Home Brew shops in the East Midlands and I remember using them way back when I used to live in Mabletherpe.

Like many shops, I can see how they would be suffering with the massive increase in Internet sales, but they have an Internet service as well as a shop.

Browsing in a shop and having a natter with someone who knows the business can save many £££'s! :thumb:
