Beavertown Heavy Water. Imperial stout with cacao, vanilla and raspberries. Only 9.5% so it’s got nothing on @strange-steve monster brew. It’s excellent, sweetness and body balancing out the roast very nicely.

I wondered what it tasted like as Guinness is not something that I ordinarily drink; but it looks as if I was a bit quick.

My taste buds are not as good as the guy in the video or Slids but i enjoyed it and will buy it again i (like a lot of drinkers) cannot stand Guiness so this as the guy in the video said this is a smart move by them.

.

Don't normally enjoy cask but gone old school

Fierce brewing opened up a bar in Edinburgh so it seemed rude not to have a wee look last night. My memory is rather hazy as we also visited BrewDog and the hanging bat but the raspberry wee heavy whose name escapes me was especially good.

Curry recipe....
YouTube Misty Ricardo...follow instructions for base gravy, mix powder and subsequent recipes.
For the chicken I use thighs...blitz fresh coriander, ginger, garlic, hot green chillies, turmeric, cumin, coriander,Kashmiri chilli powder, mix powder, salt, oil and a bit of set yoghurt....marinade chicken for hours...I cook them on the BBQ then add to the base recipe.

GH's English IPA tonight, 4 weeks out of the FV it is well carbonated, looks perfect and very hoppy which the wife turned her nose up at. Well chuffed with this one, very tasty.

At the Inn at Whitewell then Braindead. My favourite pub, I even got married there.

Great spot
Probably my favourite pub up North for food and Views.
No craft beers on but that doesn't matter.
I urge anyone to go who hasn't been, it was on The Trip as well.
Grag to get there but worth it, you from round there?

We live just outside Southport. We tend to go there every couple of months, always take the dog. We were there on one of the days that they were filming the Trip. Are you nearby yourself?
