2 Gallon pressure barrels have popped out their bottoms

I have always tightened caps on PBs by turning until the mating surfaces just touch then one quarter turn. And that seems to work.

thanks Terry, I would have imagined that would not have created a tight enough seal, but will try.

Folks,
I'm not getting any younger and the 25L pressure barrel is getting a bit much for me to manage. I'm thinking about investing in a couple of smaller 10 Litre plastic barrels. Could anyone recommend a good supplier? Cheers.
