Dont get too excited and dont spend it all at once they think they'll go back up towards the end of the year, call me an old cynic but would that be when we use more energy because its cold

The latest quarterly cap for England, Wales and Scotland means a household using a typical amount of gas and electricity will pay £1,568 a year.

It means that bills will be the lowest for two years.

The cap, set by the regulator Ofgem, limits the maximum price that can be charged for each unit of gas and electricity - not the total bill.

If you use more energy, you will pay more.

It affects the gas and electricity bills of 28 million households, but does not impact customers in Northern Ireland, where the sector is regulated differently but where prices are also falling.

Anyone who thinks it will get back to normal needs a brain transplant
Oh, arguably, eventually it will do. But we need to remove the reliance on gas first.
Now here's a scary thought. If Scotland did ever get independence, they'd have the same fun the Norwegians do.

Entirely self-reliant on green electricity (hydro, wind, solar etc.) and yet their main exports are fossil fuels!
