24hours in and fermenting away great! I did a yeast starter with a little spray malt and used s-04, started fermenting really quickly so will use a starter for future brews! :thumb:

my brew had dropped down to 1020 by yesterday and to 1016 today - so all going to plan!
will leave it till next week before i bottle up - quick taste was very promising :whistle:

hopefully get another brew or two in before xmas - reckon i can squeeze a 60pint brew in with my equipment :cool:
 
finished at 1014 giving me 4.9%, all bottled and boxed up tonight - 40pints in total
lovely malty and liquorice flavours - not to bitter and should be a good un :thumb:
