Doing Wheeler's ESB recipe today, with malt and hip bill courtesy of Malt Miller.

We have a new toy... a stainless double walled temp-controlled boiler by Klarstein. It has a false bottom so we're using it as a mash tun today.

Heated the liquor up to 75 Deg strike temp in the Klarstein and mashed into about 18l. Hit 67 deg target mash temp and currently the Klarstein is holding it there nicely. 👍🏻

The boil was pretty vigorous. The double wall Klarstein comes to the boil quicker than my Burco. Our post boil volume was 18l at 1072 so we will liquor back by 5l to hit 1054. Pitched it with Danstar ESB yeast.
