Evening All,

I'm brewing a St Peters cream stout kit next week and hope to turn it into a clone of Stealth breweries Mint Spy (Sweet mint stout), I'm no stranger to sweet stouts and I think they're great. I've currently got a tincture of vanilla absolute and soaking 3g of shredded mint leaves and a dash of Dr Oetkers Madagascan vanilla bean paste, I intend this to sit for around a week and add to the bottling bucket. Failing if that doesn't provide much mint taste i'd like to think brewing some peppermint tea would help too. However, i'm not sure whether to add the mint brew say before primary, 4 days into primary or at bottling?

Additionally, I'm adding some cocao powder (75g) too, 50g before primary and 25g with the tincture solution and lactose at the bottling stage. I intend to boil 1L of water dissolve the lactose and add the cacao powder, chill down to pitching temp add the tincture and chuck it all in the bottling bucket.

I cant see any issues with the above but i'd be grateful if there is any other advice or opinions as to what you'd do?
