The mrs has now fell in love with a double choc stout anyone got a tried and tested recipe they have brewed.
 
Right i've had a play with all the above and some more and have come up with this.

Batch Size: 25.00 L
Boil Size: 32.42 L
Boil Time: 90 min
Brewhouse Efficiency: 75.00

Ingredients

4.30 kg Pale Malt, Maris Otter (5.9 EBC) Grain 80.07 %
0.45 kg Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (157.6 EBC) Grain 8.38 %
0.25 kg Roasted Barley (591.0 EBC) Grain 4.66 %
0.22 kg Barley, Flaked (3.3 EBC) Grain 4.10 %
0.15 kg Chocolate Malt (886.5 EBC) Grain 2.79 %
30.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (90 min) Hops 16.0 IBU
30.00 gm Fuggles [4.50 %] (90 min) Hops 14.4 IBU
20.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (30 min) Hops 7.7 IBU

Can you let us know how this went as my mate tried adding some cocoa to a brew and it just ended up tasting powdery and bitter.

I'm always on the lookout for a supplier of chocolate essence for that kind of brew, Young's Double Chocolate Stout is beautiful stuff!
 
I have found a guy on Ebay selling Chocolate essence, Looking at brewing sometime in the next 2 weeks so will let you know :pray:
